Built Around Your Seat

Most of our chairs start with a seat we chose. This one starts with the seat you want.

Tell us the car, the trim and the colour. We search our suppliers for the best example we can find. From there, we engineer an office chair around it from a blank sheet.

One quote covers all of it – the seat, the search and the build.

If you already have the seat, send it in and we'll build your chair around it.

Powered seats keep every original adjustment. That's often the longest part of the job: we reverse-engineer the seat's electrics and design fail-safe wiring so it runs on its own.

Cost and timing

Most people underestimate this, so here it is straight:

If we're sourcing the seat, its cost and the time it takes to find are built into the same quote. Price rises with complexity, electronics and development time. It costs less if we already make a kit for your seat, if we've converted it before, or if you want a pair or more.

If you want the best value office chair, this isn't it. Our DIY conversion kits give excellent comfort and durability for a fraction of the price, and for most people they're the better choice.

If you want a one-off chair built around a seat you genuinely love, this is exactly what the service is for.

Shipping

Once your chair is built and you’ve approved the photos, delivery to mainland UK is free and takes 3–8 working days by specialist furniture courier. The courier will contact you to agree a convenient delivery time.

Warranty

We stand by our engineering. If any part of your chair has an issue, we’ll make it right – quickly, at no cost to you, and with minimal hassle.

Your chair is backed by a 3-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

The one exception is the battery on electric chairs. It’s a consumable: if it’s run down below its minimum voltage, it fails. Swapping it takes about 10 minutes and four bolts, and we can supply a replacement for £30.
