The Best Chair We've Ever Built

The F8 Tributo was Ferrari's send-off to the mid-engined V8 berlinetta - 710 horsepower, the most powerful non-special-series V8 the factory had ever signed off.

Ferrari offered two seats in it. The carbon racing bucket, and this one: the full comfort specification, with electric recline, four-way lumbar and bolsters that adjust independently across base and backrest. It's the seat owners choose when they intend to actually use the car.

Black leather throughout, with a yellow leather stripe running through the centre, yellow contrast stitching across the shell and an embroidered yellow Ferrari shield on the headrest.

Is this chair right for you?

This is the more open of the two F8 seats - the same shell as the 488 GTB, and noticeably less confining than the carbon racing bucket. The adjustable bolsters mean the fit is set by you rather than by Maranello.

Value Italian leather that has genuinely never been used

On a body shape scale from F1 driver (1) to Santa (10), the adjustable bolsters put this one comfortably at 1-9.

You're getting the exact chair shown in the pictures! The seat comes from a Ferrari showroom where it was displayed as a demo in the configuration room. It is in immaculate condition with no signs of wear.

Seat padding: 10/10 – New

Trims: 9.5/10 – A handful of barely noticeable marks

Dimensions & weight

Width: The F chair measures 70 cm at its widest point (armrests).
Length: The distance from the front of the seat to the back of the headrest varies with sitting angle, ranging from approximately 70 - 90 cm.
Height: Minimum distance from the floor to the highest point of the seat base cushion at the front is approximately 48 cm.
Weight: The chair weighs about 40 kg.
