BMW fits this seat to two of its fastest cars - the G80 M3 and the X3M.

It was engineered to hold you steady through corners at speeds that lose licences: electric bolsters that close around your frame, thigh support that extends to meet your legs, and an illuminated M logo to remind you what you're sitting in.

This chair takes that engineering and applies it to desk work.

Is this chair right for you?

The M Performance seat sits between a comfort seat and a full racing bucket. It has real bolsters and a sportier, more held-in feel than any office chair - but because the bolster width is electrically adjustable, it accommodates a far wider range of builds than a fixed-shell bucket.

It is well suited to people who:

Prefer a sportier, cockpit-like position over an open lounge feel

On a body shape scale from F1 driver (1) to Santa (10), we'd say this chair is good for a range of 1-8 - the adjustable bolsters do the accommodating.

You're getting a chair built using seat shown in the last 3 pictures. The seat has seen some wear, which is reflected in the price - study the pictures carefully.

Seat padding: 10/10 - like new
Leather condition: 7.5/10 - scratches on the headrest, a small cut in one bolster, imprints on the bolsters and thigh support
Trims: 9/10

Dimensions & weight

Width: The M3 chair measures 70 cm at its widest point (armrests).
Length: The distance from the front of the seat to the back of the headrest varies with sitting angle, ranging from approximately 70 - 90 cm.
Height: Minimum distance from the floor to the highest point of the seat base cushion at the front is approximately 48 cm.
Weight: The chair weighs about 40 kg.

Changed your mind? No problem. You have 30 days from delivery to return your chair. Please note that return shipping is your responsibility, and chairs must be securely packaged to avoid damage in transit.
